Canopus 602227 Review: ADVC-HD50. I purchased the ADVC-HD50 in order to connect my Canon XA10 digital video camera to my MacBookPro for livestreaming purposes. Like most all-digital video cameras, the XA10 only has HDMI output (no firewire), and I needed a solution for livestreaming events like church services and weddings.
